I tried changing the color on this card for the January Stampin’ Class from Just Jade (see Dec. 6 entry) to Granny Apple Green. I added a black die cut for a shadow. Let me know which card you like better.

You will have some choices to make for this gatefold card from the Toile Christmas Stamp Camp. You can stamp a branch from the Toile Christmas stamp set for the bird to perch on or die cut some leaves from the Christmas Cardinal Dies and make a wreath. You will need a background stamp of your choice – I used the Stacked Stone and Drybrush Stamps. You can stamp the bird on Whisper White cardstock and color it with Stampin’ Blends or if you are tired of coloring, you can stamp it on Real Red cardstock. Also used are the Woodland Embossing Folder, Ornate Layers, Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles Dies, Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, Real Red Sheer Ribbon and Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. In June I will be doing a Stamp Camp with the Ornate Garden Suite. We will not be meeting in person and the materials will be available for porch pickup or mailed to you. There are three options for the class depending on how many products you wish to purchase with it. For those of you who don’t want to invest in the products, I recommend subscribing to Paper Pumpkin. It is a project kit mailed right to your home each month and doesn’t require extra products to complete it.
