Sweetest Time 6

I made this card at Gloria Helmbrecht’s Downline Meeting using the Sweetest Time stamp set, Sweetest Borders Dies and Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper. (I’m wondering how this would look with a Very Vanilla background instead of the Soft Suede.)

Tip: The side of the die with the solid leaves is the side that cuts the border. The side of the die with the hollow leaves is the side you put toward the cardstock you want to keep. (Learned from experience.)

Double Wonder Cards

Today is the last day of the Designer Series Paper Sale. Make sure to order some today if you haven’t yet. If you are wondering what to with all the DSP you just bought, here are some ideas from Shannon West.

She calls it Double Wonder Cards (Like One Sheet Wonder but you use half of 2 sheets of Designer Series Paper). Pick 2 sheets of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper that you think go well together. (You will use both sides.) Cut them in half to 6″ x 12″. Pick out 6 sheets of cardstock in the colors that are listed on the DSP package. This will make 11 cards. Cut them in half and score 11 of them down the middle. You’ll also need a couple sheets of Whisper White, some sentiment stamps, a punch or die for the sentiments and maybe some ribbon or gems to decorate them. Click here for a pdf of the instructions shown below. lf you google Double Wonder Cards you’ll find lots of examples using this method.
